USAREUR Band's Brass Quintet Performs for Army Chief of Staff

On Friday, October 26, the US Army Europe Band’s Brass Quintet performed at an important ceremony at Campbell Barracks in Heidelberg, Germany. The keynote speaker was the Army Chief of Staff, General George W. Casey Jr. The Chief of Staff was in Europe for the ceremonial signing of the Army Family Covenant, a new program which renews the Army’s commitment to families. The other VIP speakers included the Sergeant Major of the Army Kenneth O. Preston, and the Commander of US Army Europe General David D. McKiernan. The brass quintet, led by Sergeant First Class David Martinez performed music before and during the ceremony. After the event, the Sergeant Major of the Army presented the group with coins and joined them on stage for a photo.
