43rd Army Band performance in Seward Nebraska
As part of the Fourth of July Weekend and promotion of the new Nebraska National Guard Museum in Seward, the 43rd Army Band was the featured performer at the WWII Entertainment Extravaganza on the 3rd of July. Based off of the old Bob Hope USO shows of the time, the variety show featured numerous vintage selections to the delight of an overflow crowd in the downtown park.

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Brian Anderson, commander of the 43rd Army Band summed it up best, “This USO style show celebrating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II was a fitting tribute to the Greatest Generation and a wonderful way to kick off the celebration of the new Nebraska National Guard Museum.”
